Would like to know what the signature says. Also, want to get a matching handle and fittings, or is my only solution a complete replacement. I would need to know age of this katana to have appropriate parts

This old Wakasashi sword has a signature, can it be read?. Someone damaged the blade with what appears to be a wire brush or wheel. No grinding marks, but damage is done. See attached images.

Hello, would like to get an approximate age and signature identification of this Wakizashi. Also, on top of the tang are some marks, I am assuming they are fittings numbers?. Thank you.

Hello, just bought another sword I like. I am trying to determine age, and if the line on the mune is a crack, or opening, and is it a fatal flaw. The tsuba and fittings and menukies are all the same theme, and I believe are original to the sword. Please see attached images. Updated with 3 images of sword length and curve to help identify age.

I like this sword, very nice blade. If anyone can help in reading the signature I appreciate it.

Seeking information about this nice little sword...total length of blade is 18&5/8", and blade from notch is 13&5/8". Tang not signed, but their is Sayaagaki information on the shirasaya. I do not know how to read it.I think it may have the Smiths' name and date. Any information would be appreciated. It has a lot of defects but nothing fatal....just like this sword!.
