Seki Izumi No Kami Kanesada (Muromachi): The first through third generations are known as Seki Kanesada, while subsequent generations are known as Aizu Kanesada (会津兼定). All three of the earliest generations held the title Izumi no Kami (和泉守) and were active in Seki. They are distinguished by the epithets: 1. Oya Kanesada (親兼定) [starts 1469], 2. Nosada (之定) [starts 1492], and 3. Hikisada (疋定) [starts 1521].
Nosada and Magoroku Kanemoto are considered the most important representatives of the Mino tradition during the late Muromachi period and exchanged ideas with one another. Together, they developed the Mino-mono style.
